Weather Conference 2005

Nearly a dozen top television broadcast meteorologists from Boston and other Northeastern cities visited Wachusett Mountain on Saturday, May 21st for a weather conference presented by the National Weather Service!

The weather people gathered as part of a special NWS certification course. The New England Ski Areas Council/Snow Country offered an enlightening talk during lunch about all the common misperceptions the public has about "winter weather."

It was an unprecidented gathering of so many high level "weather" minds in one place and they all promised a beautiful snowy winter for next season!
