IT Help Desk Technician (08-09 Ski Season)
• Assess and respond to client requests received by phone and email.
• Manage and administer Active Directory and Exchange environments.
• Implement and adhere to security standards and procedures to ensure secure data center and system environment.
• Document and manage call tickets to ensure a timely resolution.
• Manage systems to provide availability consistent with client service levels.
• Administer and support anti-virus software and anti-SPAM software.
• Provide desktop support internally.
• Perform assigned tasks in a timely fashion.
• Be a team player but able to work independently and under pressure.
• Keen attention to detail.
Required Skills:
• End user support experience, IT related degree a plus.
• Strong customer service orientation and skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with customers, management.
• Strong problem solving and analytical experience a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft desktop products including hands-on installation experience supporting and installing Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP.
• Working knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP.
• Proficient with Windows XP/2000/2003.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
• Flexibility to work varying shifts between the hours of 7:00 am and 8:00 pm weekdays and weekend days.
